    During cancer treatment, we were fortunate to experience the very kindest part of people. We would not have made it through as well as we did without that kindness. It did not matter what political party they/we associated with, what they/we believed, or what rights they/we were fighting for. They were kind, and it opened our minds and hearts to see the world differently, to be more understanding, and ultimately to love more. We could all use a reminder of this, especially during these times.
